Nested Jar

This lathe turned lidded container was carved exceptionally displaying the spalting lines in continuity. Lid off or on the lines outline the general shape of the jar. A striking resemblance to the nested doll toys of our youth. Turned on a lathe to a uniform wall thickness and snug fit of the lid. Finished with mineral oil and beeswax for any everyday use. Measures two inches in diameter and sits four inches tall.
